If a 90 minute paddle at a relaxed pace, where the main focus is just having a chat, enjoying some water time, meeting new people and perhaps stopping for a snack or coffee afterwards sounds like your kinda style… this is for you.

Our 90 minute social paddles happen adhoc throughout the year as a way to bring our community together to catch up, connect and celebrate the incredible women who paddle with us. These catch ups after often created to celebrate key holidays and dates such as Halloween, Christmas, end of season/start of season and therefore are THEMED as we LOVE an excuse to dress-up on our SUPs and have a laugh!!

Introducing, our next THEMED paddle of the year…

It's time for our annual SANTA SUP!

If you’ve never joined a She SUPs Santa SUP before then prepare for A LOT of fun and laughter on and off of the water! Join solo or with friends as we dress up in Santa outfits and take Narrabeen Lakes by storm!

We’ll all meet at our base (emailed to you upon booking) beside Narrabeen Lakes. We have our own toilets and storage facilities here so you can leave belongings here while we paddle. We will come together for some group photos before we take to the lake to parade our costumes and bring some Christmas cheer!

We’ll then come back to the Hall where we will have a delicious food spread for you to enjoy and we’ll play some Christmassy games to reveal your gifts from Santa!!

ABILITY LEVEL

Suitable for ALL abilities. We recommend that if you haven’t paddled before, you take a lesson first before this event as our 90 minute paddle will have a large number of paddlers and it can be a little daunting if you haven’t paddled before. Also for this themed paddle, our instructors will be purely there for safety not instruction, therefore we simply head out onto the water, go for a float at a slow pace, have a good chat, laugh at our amazing costumes, and as always, there’s no pressure to stand! WHAT HAPPENS IF IT’S BAD WEATHER?

This event is set to go ahead no matter the weather. If it’s unsafe paddling conditions, we will simply retreat indoors for some more Christmassy fun!

Our 90 minute social paddles run adhoc throughout the year as a way to welcome new paddlers to She SUPs, create a safe and supportive atmosphere for everyone to find and meet potential new paddle buddies and provide an opportunity for you find 90 minutes in your busy schedule to get out on the water to gain all the benefits being on and near water brings. Often these paddles are themed as we celebrate unique events and holidays throughout the year.
