A mindful and magical experience we guarantee you won’t forget!

ABOUT THIS ADVENTURE

Join a group of fellow ocean-loving female paddlers for an hour of calm paddling and nature spotting as the sun rises over Manly. We spend a relaxing 90 mins on the water looking out for other early risers such as dolphins, seals, turtles and little penguins!

We take it slow as we complete a full circuit of Manly’s North Harbour (ferry side, not ocean side), enjoying the company of those around us. The focus of the session is capturing the magic that comes from being out on the water before anyone else, so as we sit and absorb the first sun rays rising over the horizon, we encourage you to take some quiet time for yourself before a busy day ahead.

On our way back we’ll stop via Effie’s waterside coffee shop to pick up a coffee (optional) before we head back to the beach and onto work!

Our groups are always friendly, supportive and inclusive, beginners are more than welcome (you can sit, stand or kneel for this paddle)!

ABILITY LEVEL

Suitable for beginners! We recommend that if you haven’t paddled before, you take a lesson first before this adventure as we won’t have time for detailed instruction during this paddle. Click here to check out our lessons.

WEATHER

The She SUPs team will be in touch with you via SMS if the weather (in particular wind) conditions look unsafe to paddle and we will arrange to reschedule the paddle or provide a refund. Please assume we are proceeding as normal if you don't hear from us, and trust that we will never run a paddle if it's unsafe to do so. Often generalist forecasts like Apple and Google forecasts are not accurate enough for paddling, so your instructor will be analysing more in-depth weather charts to decide whether to proceed.

START TIME & DATES

We aim to run our Sunrise paddles every Tuesday morning (weather permitting) however occasionally it will change day depending on instructor availability - please check before you book. The Sunrise SUPs all start at 6am and finish around 7.30am. Please note that due to our stop at Effies Coffee Shop, we can’t guarantee how quickly our coffees will be made so if there is a queue, we may be back at 7.45am at the latest. Thank you for your understanding.
