Spring Explorer Series 2025

We had great plans of exploring some new waterways with our paddlers throughout August, but the rain decided to hit us hard and pause any potential plans. So we’re moving our explorations to September & October - just in time for Spring!

ABOUT THESE ‘LIMITED EDITION’ ADVENTURES

Our Spring Explorer Series is made up of NEW locations which aren’t formally on the She SUPs locations list. This means you’ll be coming along to help us make in-the-moment choices on routes and you’ll be helping form some potential new tour ideas!! If a location seems to be a crowd favourite, we’ll start the formal procedures to make it a regular addition to our schedule for the rest of Summer! If parking seems hard or some other unknown pops up, it will remain a once-off ‘limited edition’ special paddle!

As always, you will be supported by your qualified She SUPs instructor and a group of like-minded SUP loving individuals. This paddle is all about heading out on the water in a supported environment, having a good chat, seeing beautiful natural locations and gaining all the benefits being on the water brings.

We'll be providing some light refreshments for morning tea, and will stop half way to enjoy them from our SUPs. As with all She SUPs paddles, this paddle is conducted at a leisurely rate and with PLENTY of rest stops. We’ll always adjust our plans based on the conditions and the needs/wishes of the group.

COST

3.5 Hour Guided Paddle + Morning Tea + BYO SUP: $99
+ SUP Hire: $49

ABILITY LEVEL

All of these explorer paddles are designed like our half-day tours, so they will be 3.5 hours in length. All apart from the Harbour Explorer are mixed ability paddles, suitable for anyone who has paddled with She SUPs before in any capacity! We recommend that if you haven’t paddled before, you take a lesson first before these adventures! Click here to find out more about our lessons.

For the Harbour Explorer we are likely to experience swell/boat wake so you must be a confident paddler.

WEATHER

The She SUPs team will be in touch with you via SMS if the weather (in particular wind) conditions look unsafe to paddle and we will arrange to reschedule the paddle or provide a refund. Please assume we are proceeding as normal if you don't hear from us, and trust that we will never run a paddle if it's unsafe to do so. Often generalist forecasts like Apple and Google forecasts are not accurate enough for paddling, so your instructor will be analysing more in-depth weather charts to decide whether to proceed.

WHAT’S ON OFFER FROM OUR ‘LIMITED EDITION’ EXPLORER SERIES:

Adventure #1 - Akuna Bay Explorer (21st Sept)
Akuna Bay is in the heart of Kuring-gai Chase National Park and opens out onto the beautiful Coal & Candle Creek. Expect a beautiful natural paddle in a sheltered waterway. (#Relaxing Creek Vibes)

Adventure #2 - Bundeena Explorer (28th Sept)
Bundeena is a beach down in the south of Sydney on the edge of the Royal National Park. This is an OG destination of She SUPs and we used to paddle here a lot in the early days! We cannot wait to return to share with you the secret gem that is Cabbage Tree Basin. (#Hidden Basin Vibes)

Adventure #3 - Palm Beach Explorer (4th Oct)
We are back up North for this adventure on the beautiful Pittwater side of Palm Beach. Depending on the conditions and the group we’ll either hug the shoreline paddling down the Pittwater side of Palm Beach, or we’ll cross over to find some secret beaches hidden within Kuring-gai Chase National Park! (#Relaxing Beach Vibes)

Adventure #4 - Harbour Side Adventure, launching in Greenwich (5th Oct)
This harbour-side adventure has been on our bucketlist for ages and we’re excited to hit the water. Explore the bays of the lower North Shore of Sydney with great views of the Harbour Bridge, but expect some swell under foot as this is a busy ferry route therefore we recommend this paddle for confident paddlers only who can paddle over boat wake. (#Harbour Thrill Vibes)

Adventure #5 - Bobbin Head Explorer (25th Oct)
To conclude our series we’re heading to one of my personal favourite creek paddles in Sydney at Bobbin Head. Bobbin Head offers three different routes for us to take, so we’ll work out on the day which one we fancy!! (#Relaxing Creek Vibes)
