Community Social Paddles

Our Community Social paddles are a chance for our community to connect on the water and enjoy a 1-2 hour paddle at a relaxed pace. If you’re looking for a way to make new friends, connect with other paddlers and feel part of something special - these events are for you!

Our Community social paddles happen adhoc throughout the year as a way to bring our community together to catch up, connect and celebrate the incredible women who paddle with us. These catch ups after often created to celebrate key holidays and dates such as Halloween, Christmas, end of season/start of season and therefore are THEMED as we LOVE an excuse to dress-up on our SUPs and have a laugh!!

Introducing, our next THEMED Community Social Paddle of the year…

You all know we love a floating morning tea, we have one on every half day tour. However I’ve always had the goal of taking things a little further with a full-on high tea spread!! So to close out the 25/26 season in style, this is exactly what we’re going to do! Join us on the beautiful calm waters of Pittwater, for a 2 hour paddle, followed by 1 hour floating high tea! Expect delicious baked treats on tiered cake stands, endless cups of tea and a beautiful way to spend a winter’s morning on the water. We will provide anchors and ways to secure your boards so you can literally enjoy the float and chat with your new SUP friends.

WHEN & WHERE?

Date: Saturday 4th July
Time: 8.30am - 11.30am
Where: Clareville Beach Reserve, (Pittwater side of Avalon - parking info in confirmation email)

WHAT TO WEAR
These winter mornings are cooler, so the best way to stay warm is layers!! We recommend long leggings on bottom (fleece lined ones are great), then light layers on top with a jumper. Bring a dry bag if you have one so you can take layers on and off as you need. On your feet we recommend neoprene booties or reef shoes to help your toes stay warm.

Oh and BRING YOUR OWN CHINA TEA CUP!! Don’t have one? Head to an op shop to find one!!

COST
2 hour paddle + 1 hour catered high tea (GF options available): $99

+ SUP Hire $49

ABILITY LEVEL
Suitable for ALL abilities. We recommend that if you haven’t paddled before, you take a lesson first before this event. Click here to find out more about our lessons if you need one before this event.

WHAT HAPPENS IF IT’S BAD WEATHER?
We will reach out to you via email if we have to reschedule due to bad weather. Please trust that your instructors are watching detailed weather forecasts and will never put you in an unsafe or unenjoyable situation.

ABOUT OUR OTHER COMMUNITY SOCIAL PADDLES
