Want to try travelling with your iSUP? This is your trip!

One of the great things about owning an inflatable stand-up paddleboard is travel! So why not use this trip to test out taking your iSUP on a trip? While SUP hire is available for those who need it, we highly recommend bringing your own iSUP so that you have the option to paddle MORE outside of the scheduled paddles.

If you’ve never travelled with your iSUP before, fear not - we can offer guidance and support of how to do it and how much luggage allowance you will need to book if you are travelling by air.

A She SUPs trip is a chance to step away from your everyday roles - whether that’s work or family - and to be a part of a group of women who share a love of the water and of adventure. It’s a chance to take a deep breath, meet new friends, develop your paddling and reconnect with the heart of who you are. It’s an investment in you, and you are worth that investment.

Sample Itinerary

Day One:

  • We will offer an airport pick up for those who need it around 11am, and we will head straight to our first activity - a scenic boat cruise through Surfers Paradise with a grazing platter for lunch… and the fun part? You’ll be the ones learning to drive the boat! We’ll be taking out the super fun electric GoBoats to get to know the area.

  • Later than afternoon we’ll check into our accomodation and enjoy an early evening easy paddle (from our private pontoon!) before enjoying a BBQ dinner at our accomodation.

Day Two:

  • After a fresh and healthy breakfast at our accomodation, we’ll head off for a 4 hour paddle seeing the famous surfers paradise skyline from a unique water perspective, stopping on route for a coffee and equally famous local delicacy!

  • After a big morning of paddling, we’ll enjoy some lunch and a bit of downtime around our own private pool. Most paddlers are pretty tired after our big morning paddle, but if you’re keen for more, you have the option to explore further from our private pontoon!

  • That evening we’ll have a fun themed evening at our water-side mansion and celebrate our paddle achievements over a chef prepared dinner.

Day Three:

  • We’ll rise early again for another healthy breakfast at home before heading a little further away from our accomodation to Paradise Point (or another secret location!) for a 2-3 hour SUP adventure.

  • In the afternoon we’ll take a drive into the Gold Coast Hinterland to uncover a secluded wild swimming spot at a local waterfall!

  • Finally that evening we’ll have dinner out in town, checking out some of the Gold Coast’s best local bars and restaurants.

Day Four:

  • For our final day we’ll head out before sunrise and head to a new Gold Coast location, Tallebudgera Creek, to enjoy some morning SUP Yoga followed by a guided adventure up the creek, to uncover the secrets of this beautiful waterway.

  • We’ll have time to come back to the house to shower and pack before closing out the trip with a group brunch at a local beachside cafe and walk along the beach.

I absolutely loved the Gold Coast trip - from the spontaneous treats that met us throughout the weekend, to the thoughtful pit stops along the way - it was well planned, supportive, active and fun. I don’t remember the last time I laughed this much.

  • She SUPs aims to offer a mix of shared and private rooms on each trip.

Many light sleepers or snorers choose to book a private room.

We offer shared rooms as a way of making trips more affordable and accessible to all. All shared rooms feature individual beds for each individual so you will never be required to a share a bed.

For many women, sharing a room with others is a new experience (or something they haven’t experienced since their teens!) But fear not, 9 times out of 10, it’s absolutely fine as an adult too.

If you’re a light sleeper and sharing a room, please let us know before arrival so we are aware. You host will have ear plugs in case of snorers, and we advise that you bring anything else that may help you sleep better such as your favourite pillow, an eye mask, a heat pack, lavender oil, chamomile tea etc.

After hosting hundreds of women on our trips, we have found that some guests don’t sleep very well on the first night as they are often subconsciously apprehensive about the weekend. But once they relax into the retreat and we’re keeping active every day, they sleep soundly every night! Please keep your host notified of your sleep patterns if you’re not getting much sleep. There will be plenty of nap opportunities during the day time too.
