If you're looking for an opportunity to feel like you're on holiday without leaving Sydney, then this jam-packed half-day adventure tour is for you (featuring yoga, SUP, bush walk and waterfalls!)

ABOUT THIS ADVENTURE

Start the day at 8am with a gentle outdoor yoga session at McCarrs Creek Reserve we will take some time to settle into our surroundings (BYO mat or large beach towel). Around 9am we will gear up for our first relaxing 1-hr Stand-up paddle adventure around McCarrs Creek and into the nearby bays. We will cruise up to Church Point, hugging the western foreshore, and continue into one of the bays that is home to a large waterfall and secret waterhole!
We will pull up onto the beach here for a short rest before we bush walk to the base of the waterfall guided by our local qualified hiking guide Katie. Katie is one of the only guides in the area who has permission to guide groups to these sacred aboriginal spots.
Here we will stop for morning tea (provided). Upon returning to the beach we can enjoy a refreshing dip to cool down and enjoy some time to relax before we begin our paddle back to McCarrs Creek. We aim to finish at 1pm.

ABILITY LEVEL

Suitable for beginners who have paddled for at least 1 hour standing up previous to this adventure. If you haven’t paddled before, we recommend you take a lesson first before this adventure. We won’t have time for detailed instruction during this paddle and we will be paddling for a solid 2.5+ hours over the whole morning so knowing the basics of paddling will ensure you enjoy this adventure and can keep up with the group. Click here to check out our lessons.

This adventure also features a short (uphill) bush-walk so we request that all guests should have a moderate level of fitness and be able to walk up hill for 20 minutes. Upon booking we will share a packing list of what to bring and wear (including closed toe shoes for the bush walk).

WEATHER

The She SUPs team will be in touch with you via SMS if the weather (in particular wind) conditions look unsafe to paddle and we will arrange to reschedule the paddle or provide a refund. Please assume we are proceeding as normal if you don't hear from us, and trust that we will never run a paddle if it's unsafe to do so. Often generalist forecasts like Apple and Google forecasts are not accurate enough for paddling, so your instructor will be analysing more in-depth weather charts to decide whether to proceed.

MEETING POINT

Details about meeting point and what to wear/bring are shared once you have booked in for this adventure!
